Ways to Give

Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions (CWHTP) depends upon donations from individuals and businesses, as well as grants and fundraisers to offset the ever increasing gap between third party reimbursements and the actual costs of providing services. If you are interested in supporting our organization through a financial or in-kind gift, please do not hesitate to contact us. There are numerous ways, some of which we touch on below, that can truly make a difference to CWHTP.

Potential Scam Warning

Give Online

It’s easy to set up your gift online. Just use the online form to designate where you would like your gift to go and how you would like to fund it.

Annual Giving

Annual Giving creates a vital and dependable source of support for Central Wyoming Hospice;& Transitions. Each year in the Spring, we send an invite to all of our supporters asking them to support our operations by making a one time or monthly gift. Great programs are run by great people and we depend upon donations from private individuals and businesses to help fund the nurses, aides, chaplains and administrative team who tirelessly work to make CWHTP what it is…a vital community asset. An unrestricted gift helps us keep the doors open, the lights on and the staff working to help those in need.

Planned Gifts

We work with local wealth managers, trust officers, CPAs and lawyers to assist donors who are interested in integrating charitable gifts into their financial, tax, and estate-planning objectives. These gifts can maximize benefits to both donors and Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions by providing immediate tax deductions and other benefits such as life income, continued use of gift property, or elimination of capital gains tax. A brief overview of the planned giving options are available by clicking the link here. Please consult a professional prior to making any decision that impacts you or your family.

In Memory

Memorials are oftentimes left to Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions by family members who want to give something back to our organization. Families often ask us how this is done. Simply indicate in the obituary that memorials can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions. We can accept online donations at www.cwhp.org or checks can be mailed to us at 319 S. Wilson Street, Casper, WY  82601.

When donations made in memory of or in honor of someone total $1,000 or more, our Development staff will notify the family that they are eligible for a paver. These bricks or pavers can be engraved and placed within the Kloefkorn Home patio or along the walkway of the Charles M and Cara Lou Chapman Home. These pavers are engraved twice a year by Hoffman Monuments and Stoneworks.

Tree of Giving

Our Tree of Giving was developed during our Capital Campaign to help recognize the donors who made the construction of the Kloefkorn Home possible, and still continues for donors who make one-time gifts of $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 or more. Silver, bronze and gold leaves are available to memorialize or honor someone. While most people don’t give to be recognized, these tremendous gifts help us so much that we want to honor our benefactors in some small way. The Tree of Giving provides that opportunity for us to show our gratitude.

Some corporations match the charitable gifts of their employees. Many even match charitable contributions made by retirees or directors. Check with your human resources department to see if the company you work for has a matching program. Then just send in your gift with the form from your company, and they will contribute toward the area or program of your choice.

In-Kind Gifts

We accept a variety of products that are either no longer needed or available to you through your work or business. These gifts help offset our expenses and are deeply appreciated. Each month we update our Wish List on this website and we also publish a current wish list in our newsletter that is produced three times a year. If you have something that you think might be helpful, please contact our Development Director for more information.

To create awareness and raise much needed funds, we hold events throughout the year. Sponsorships for these events are needed to offset the costs of producing some of the events. We try to obtain donations first before purchasing anything but oftentimes that is not possible and these sponsorships help defray costs plus increase the percentage of profit for each event. Contact us for a list of sponsorship opportunities.
