Casper, WY- Oktoberfest, to benefit the patients of Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions, will be held Saturday September 28th at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper starting at 5:00 pm.
Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions provides the full continuum of end-of-life care to more than 500 families in our community each year. Our goal is to make sure our patients’ last days are symptom-free and filled with dignity, and to give them and their loved one’s memorable moments of love, laughter, and peace.
“Hospice isn’t something that you think of everyday. However, when your family needs it, you need it yesterday,” said Executive CWHP Director Kilty Brown, “so it’s important that we make sure our Hospice home is open and available for all families.
” The proceeds from Oktoberfest ticket sales and sponsorships from businesses, organizations, and individuals will help cover the ever-increasing gap between Medicare payments and our actual cost, and to fund other Hospice community programs. “Oktoberfest is a fun way to support our community,” said Brown. “All the funds raised go to providing end-of-life care in Wyoming— particularly, our hospice home, grief care, and Kid’s Grief Camp.
” The festive evening includes German cuisine, the popular Beer Garden, Polka music and dancing with The Hof Band, and entertainment by renowned Master Mind Brent Webb along with auctions, incredible and moving stories, and fundraising to benefit our programs in Natrona and Converse counties.
