Memorial Gifts

As time passes, memorial gifts help keep the memory of your loved one alive and continue their legacy and impact. Each donation not only pays tribute to your loved one but helps another who is now facing their own end of life journey.

Memorial Gifts are fitting for those who wish to remember others through giving.  These gifts help us fulfill our mission of providing exceptional care and support to Central Wyoming residents who are touched by end-of-life issues.

Memorial Giving is a unique opportunity to mark anniversaries or other occasions that hold a special place in your heart by giving in their name.  In honoring your loved one's life, you have the opportunity to leave an enduring message of love through an engraved Paver or Leaf.

The walkways surrounding the gardens of our Hospice Homes provide an everlasting opportunity for you to remember or honor your loved ones. For memorial gifts totaling $1000, a paver with your engraved message will be displayed permanently in our gardens – and we’ll be one step closer to our goal of helping everyone reach their rest, in peace. Pavers are engraved twice a year, and a memorial service is offered in the Spring.

The Tree of Giving, installed in the entry of our Hospice Home, is a permanent fixture dedicated to those we love. Affixed on the wall are leaves of gold, silver, and bronze offering messages of remembrance and love to those we have lost.  As your gifts reach $5,000, you may choose to engrave a personal note that best reflects how you would like to memorialize your loved one.

Both options are a beautiful and everlasting way to show your support of our community’s only hospice inpatient facility.

Sustaining Gifts

Sustaining Gifts are an investment in our community.  Your monthly gift nourishes programs and services that otherwise wouldn't be available in our rural community.  It is only with support that our community's inpatient hospice facility remains a viable option for families.

By setting up a Sustaining Gift, you can make a big impact that works with your budget and schedule. It enables you to turn small donations into large gifts over time.  Moreover, it’s convenient, customizable, and environmentally friendly.

Most importantly, sustaining gifts ensure a steady source of support for the Central Wyoming Hospice's programs and services.  Your monthly donation creates a reliable source of support that helps us make long-term commitments to essential projects and priorities.

This level of commitment truly demonstrates your desire to help the families in our community facing the end-of-life journey.   Gifts of any size help us fulfill our mission to ensure every individual dies with comfort, dignity, and compassion.

Legacy Gifts

Legacy Gifts guarantees Hospice care will be here for years to come.  A pain-free and compassionate future for all who are facing terminal illness is possible by including a provision in your will or living trust, or by naming Central Wyoming Hospice as a beneficiary of your life insurance.

We offer the ability for our supporters to choose the combination of giving that means the most to their legacy: unrestricted gifts, designated gifts, or endowment gifts.

Unrestricted Giving plays a vital role in allowing Central Wyoming Hospice to meet the current needs of the organization.  These funds can be used to provide the organization flexibility to address immediate needs or take advantage of opportunities as they arise during the course of the year.

Designated Giving allows you to see the impact of your gift directly, and you can do this more easily by supporting a project or program holds special meaning to you.

Endowment Giving ensures your gift will be making funding hospice for years to come.  For this reason, we have partnered with the Wyoming Community Foundation to establish a fund to exclusively benefit CWHP.  Your donation to the Central Wyoming Hospice Endowment Fund ensures a reliable source of income in perpetuity and protects the future of hospice care in Wyoming.

CWHP depends on donors like yourself that are committed to investing in their community and impacting lives with their gifts. There is no opportunity quite like hospice to provide such an emotional and genuinely needed support to your fellow neighbor.

Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions has the ability to accept large gifts of all varieties such as…

•    Beneficiary gifts from wills, trusts, or life insurance policies

•    Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, and other investments

•    Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from Individual Retirement Accounts

•    Estate belongings, furniture, and jewelry

•    Gifts of vehicles

We are truly fortunate to work with experienced investors, accountants, and lawyers who can make the transition of such gifts as seamless as possible. And, you have the peace of mind, knowing that your gift benefits patient care and family support.
